Having grown up in the vibrant city of Bogota, Columbia, Adriana Vaccaro moved to the United States to study English and continue her education. Her studies at Framingham State University and Nichols College equipped her with a Graduate Certificate in Human Resources and an MBA in International Business, respectively. Her studies gave her a deep understanding of the principles of corporate dynamics and culture.
Adriana has practiced yoga for about twenty-five years, and this practice has become an intrinsic part of her life. This mind-body practice helps her feel refreshed and stay mindful and focused. Yoga is not just a hobby for her, however. As someone with a naturally entrepreneurial spirit, her first business venture in the United States was opening her own yoga studio.
Her vision expanded as she navigated through the business landscape. She recognized a pivotal gap: the need for businesses to be truly inclusive. In the same way that yoga creates harmony within, she was inspired to create harmony in the workplace.
Eventually, she found that her calling was to help businesses create diverse and inclusive workplaces free of discrimination. These concepts are more than just tick-box exercises. It’s about genuine respect and acceptance, and giving everyone a fair chance to shine.
